You stick your left leg in, you stick your left leg out....
by Dan Titus on 2002-02-19

You stick your left leg in and you shake it all about, you do the hokey pokey and you...um...Sorry, I've embarrased the site again.

I dunno, I look at Manson making an announcement on his website about appearing at this weekend's Nanaimo show, and I see he used the term "Mark his territory". Manson, I understand your urge to push the envelope in the spirit of hardcore wrestling, but peeing on the floor isn't really the way to go. And I don't care how big of a mark I am, I sure as hell am not cleaning that up.Ever. 1)It would distract us from the lovely asbestos that protudes from the walls of that building. What's the slogan here? "You'll get a good show, and cancer soon after?" I wish they would do something about that, but given only ECCW and dog show's use that venue, they don't care. 2)You can't do urine related wrestling angle's without William Regal. It's like a law or something.

What does it truly say when the first promo invloving the return of the NWO is marred by the dreaded "What?" chant? Not that it surprises me,but it kinda show's a lot of fan's don't consider the NWO a huge thing anymore, if they didn't even bother listening to what Hogan,Hall and Nash have to say.

One of the real lowlight's of No Way out was the William Regal/Edge match. Two men fighting over a pair of brass knuckles on a pole? Who cares? Ya know, they stopped having coal miner's glove matches because they sucked. I mean, why not just set the pole up, and whoever grabs it can use it to beat the holy fuck out of someone?

Curt Henning goes from being the second to last guy eliminated from the Royal Rumble in January, to hosting the party at WWFNY? Why not have him bussing tables as well? Christ, this guy proved he can still be entertaining, so of course they do the logical thing and leave him off the PPV.He looked like he was pretty drunk, maybe it was out of depression for this sudden demotion.

Lemme get this straight: Goldust teases for weeks that he is going to victimize someone, he attacks RVD, and goes on to lose cleanly at the PPV, without so much as explaining why Goldust wanted to fight him to begin with? So we get a meaningless feud with no backstory at all, and RVD goes over, and it means nothing one or the other. They may as well have had RVD alongside Henning at WWFNY, that's how much this match meant to his career.

What could have been a clinic between HHH and Kurt Angle turned into a bonafide fuck fest. I am still of the opinion that ref bump's should be used very sparingly, so that they actually mean something when they do happen. I've seen show's where the ref bump takes place in the opening match. No! Use it so it's a surprise! Why do I have to do all the thinking?

As far as Raw the next night, I understand that something major had to go down to jumpstart the NWO, but the thing with Hogan and the semi truck was kinda over the top. The intelligent thing to do would be keeping Rock off TV until Wrestlemania to sell the injuries,ya know? Totally not like how they did it that time Austin picked HHH and his car up with the crane and dropped it, only to try to convince us that HHH's real name was Clark fucking Kent and he suffered no injuries at all. Keeping Rock off tv for a while would be the intelligent thing to do, but given these are the same bookers that relegated Curt Henning to WWFNY, never explained why Goldust was mad at RVD, and had two men fighting over brass knuckles on a pole, logic may not be their strong suit.
