First off, Manson's been whining about the length of my titles, so I opted to take the minimalist approach to placate him. It's really funny, I devote an entire column to women I wanna slip the hot beef injection to, and he complains about the length of the titles.
I guess I must have missed the public outpouring begging for the return of Jerry Lawler to WWF programming. It was likely inevitable, but couldn't he done anything interesting upon his return? Hell, go into a worked shoot or something! But no, the grand buffoon immediately launched into the puppies schtick. At least JR had some energy when he worked with Heyman. I think the majority of viewers will have a 2-3 week honeymoon period with Lawler, followed by excessive bitching.
Someone, and I cannot recall whom, posted something on the forum, miffed because I opted to plug another tape trader over him. Let me explain something: I control this column, due to the fact that I have access to the posting login. So I can write anything I want, AHJSGUEYURBGFGRGUBRGYBRGURUGRUYRUYRUYRYURGFNDJDJIDJIDJIDJDJHDHJPOOPOO DOODY PEEPEE CA CA!-See, I can write that because I write here and you don't, so NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! (yeah but dan you forget, I have approving and deleting powers...you don't - Manson)
. Quite an enjoyable "Six Pack Challenge" for the Womens belt at the Survivor Series, and the wierd thing was, I would not have had a real problem with any of the women involved winning. Trish Stratus has obviously worked very hard to improve(Well, she couldn't have gotten much worse then she was when she started), Ivory could have gotten the belt over with her great mic skills, Lita because of her highspots, Molly because she is a fabulous athlete, Jackie, because she would finally have soe TV time to showcase herself, and Jazz, because of old fashioned power wrestling (Man, did she slam Lita like a rag doll in the opening thirty seconds.). Finally, a viable womans division. Don't fuck it up.
In mentioning Molly, it brought to mind discussing her with Sam Halsall when I was watching the match at his place,on Sunday. I really hope she gets a turn eventually with the belt. A lot of people have made various criticism's of her looks, and I have to say "Shut up". Let's put it this way, there is nothing wrong with the way the majority of the WWF women look, but part of "Mighty Molly"'s charm is that she doesn't look like that. To me, it just makes her stand out from the crowd. You can market her just on the basis of ability alone, or on sex appeal. It's only a lose-lose situation if booking ineptitude takes over. Here's hoping she gets a chance to shine...
