Well maybe not the latest and greatest news but news none the less. So
here we go. The House of Pain going into it's fourth year of
opperations, with the graduation of the third class of graduates. 2002
just around the corner. With some minor set backs this year it looks
like I'll still be around to see the new year.
Along with the House of Pain and ECCW, Starr, Silverspoon and Republic
have made it through another year.
Some new plans in place for the HOP, some renovations and some
innovations. House of Pain shows going strong every Saturday night at
8:00 pm. The students getting some valuable experiance in doing matches
preparing them for the ECCW shows. Over the passed five years we have
trainned some incredible talents.
Over the last ten years Grand Master Michelle Starr has trained many of
the talents here on the Westcoast.
Let's just take a few lines to give mention to the talent he has
trained. Johnny Canuck, Ladies Choice, Mondog Manson, Torch, Strife,
Buffy, Bubba Canuck, Private Todd Kelly, Backstreet Bobby, Grunt, Arron
Idol, Wrathchild, The Count, Prince Alladin, Ray Brooks, Chopps, Disco
Fury, Weed, Samantha Slides thats
just a few. Starr had some help in developing these talents, so let's
give some mention to Chance Beckett, Vern Seibert, Juggernaut and the
guest trainers, Kurrgan, Jason, Honky Tonk, Jim Niedhart, Jason.
ECCW has seen some stars of the wrestling world on it's show this year,
American Dragon, Steve Corrino, Christopher Daniels, Sabu, Honky Tonk
Man, Nova, Mad Dog Kimball to name a few. The venue change to the
Bridgeview Hall has been an adjustment from the legendary Eagles Hall
Venue. Coming up will be the Boxing Day Show. A show that we have ran
every Boxing Day for eleven years as WCCW and ECCW.
Talent from ECCW has had some great breaks this year and last, Starr,
Juggernaut, Buffy, Disco Fury, Honky Tonk all saw action in Japan and
Korea. Starr recently has had a tour of England and Madison and Bambi
recently had a weeks tour of Korea. I would personally like to thank the
wrestling promotors and others like Leatherface, Jason and Mad Dog for
making all this possible.
The last few weeks of 2001 should prove to be interesting as ECCW makes
plans for 2002, well we are all reved up and ready to shift into high
gear. I would like to wish the fans and all my brothers and sisters in
the wrestling business have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
